Laurie grew up in a small town in Long Island, NY. She put herself through college while working 2 jobs. She always had a passion for the hospitality industry and graduated with a hospitality management degree and worked in the industry for over 20 years. She worked at a CPA firm for over 11 years and worked with clients in a variety of industries. She started off as an administrative assistant and quickly moved up to being in charge of the billing department. From then, she became a bookkeeper and a tax preparer. While at the firm, she received her Series 6, Series 65 and Health, Life and Accident licenses to become part of the financial services department. Laurie says the key component in bookkeeping is clear communication. She has a passion for numbers and speaking with people. She loves working with small businesses, speaking with her clients and guarantees the work is completed quickly and efficiently. She hopes to make their lives easier, so they can focus on building their business and being as successful as they can be. Laurie loves spending time with her friends, husband and 3 beautiful children. She has joined NW Premier for the long haul as a bookkeeper and payroll specialist.
